A stone's throw from Helsingborg's city center lies the new district Oceanhamnen and Scandic's new hotel of the same name, Scandic Oceanhamnen. The hotel is Scandic's second establishment in Helsingborg and the 14-story hotel with 184 rooms has now taken shape. The hotel, which like a lighthouse faces the Öresund, will welcome its first guests and employees in the first half of 2022 to a hotel and district with sustainable development at its core.
We are now looking for a Night Receptionist for Scandic Oceanhamnen.

What does the role entail?
As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web who ensures that the guest is always the focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. Ensuring that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security work, and sales work.
Working at the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing them with the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
Who are you?
To fit into this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a work tool.
Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and your attitude. To fit into this role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
Information about the position
The position is a permanent part-time employment.
The position is every other week (odd weeks), Monday–Sunday from 10:30 PM to 7:15 AM with training during March.
