JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of cook/economy assistant, you will work in the kitchen of a nursing home or in a reception kitchen. The work is performed both independently and in collaboration with colleagues in a work team. Your tasks include common kitchen duties such as preparation, cooking, portioning, cleaning, dishwashing, and serving meals.

Working in the meal service of elderly care means that you prepare and cook the food served in our nursing homes, preschools, and after-school centers.

If the position is a combined role, it also includes cleaning tasks at the preschool, which means that working hours are divided between food service and cleaning.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work experience requirement: It is desirable that you have experience from working in a large kitchen and experience in preparing allergen-free/special diets. No experience in similar work is required to work in a reception kitchen. We would like you to have a culinary education or other comparable education. You should be flexible, self-driven, and have an easy time collaborating. Access to a personal car and a B driver's license is required. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
