We are looking for a Pizza Baker/Cook!

We are looking for someone with good or some experience working in a kitchen, preferably as a pizza baker or cook. You are passionate about cooking, enjoy the pace of a lively restaurant kitchen, and want to help create wonderful dining experiences for our guests together with us. We value a positive, ambitious, and responsible attitude. Important qualities include being willing to work, meticulous, team-oriented, and curious about developing your craft. A genuine interest in food, flavors, and quality is a given.

Huset vid Stranden operates three established restaurants - Papas, Pepes Bodega, Mamas Italian - as well as the LOFT nightclub in the heart of Båstad. Here, quality, flavors, and personality meet in a vibrant and relaxed environment. During the summer, the pace increases significantly – the tempo is high and the guests are many. About the position

The position is a seasonal full-time employment starting April 20. Working hours vary depending on the business's opening hours. Day, evening, and weekend work may occur. Flexibility and a positive attitude are therefore crucial.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working in a high-paced restaurant kitchen
• Has basic knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques
• Has previous experience in pizza baking, not a requirement but a merit

Your main tasks

• Press and bake pizza
• Preparation in the kitchen
• Cooking burgers, salads, etc.
• Follow HACCP and current cleaning schedules
• Have a lot of fun in Sweden's most exciting summer town

We believe you are a cheerful and forward-thinking person who enjoys working in a team. You have a desire to learn new things and are motivated by working in an exciting and lively atmosphere. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks.

Restaurant Papas

Restaurant Papas is an à la carte restaurant right by the beach in Båstad that is open year-round, with the summer months being peak season. The kitchen prepares food from scratch using local ingredients with inspiration from the Mediterranean, the wine list is extensive, and the atmosphere is personal & lively.

Mamas Italian

Mamas Italian is an Italian meeting place in Båstad harbor. Coffee, snacks & lunch are served in a warm atmosphere. During the summer months, simpler summer dinners are also offered.

Pepes Bodega

Pepes Bodega is a relaxed restaurant and bar where summer never ends. The menu consists of pizza, burgers, and small dishes from around the world. Drinks are served in jugs with playful elements, and the service is quick. At Pepes Bodega, it's vacation all year round!
