JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a Rehabilitation Technician for our municipal assistive device collaboration, KHS, located in Kalmar.

The position is a temporary contract.

As a Rehabilitation Technician with us, you will work with items such as wheelchairs, walkers, lifts, and hospital beds. You will review the assistive devices that are returned and restore and ensure their functionality so that they can be delivered again to the next person in need.

The work can be physically demanding at times, which requires good physical fitness to handle the tasks. Other frequent tasks include inventory management, goods reception, returns, washing, and technical service of assistive devices. If necessary, other tasks within the unit may also become relevant.

Maintaining good order in our inventory is essential.

We use the Sesam system to assist in the management of assistive devices.

You will join a workplace with a positive work climate where we give and receive feedback effectively.

Teamwork is an important principle in our workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to have an interest in technology and mechanics. You are probably not someone who takes their bike to the shop for repairs but someone who prefers to fix it themselves!

• We are looking for someone with at least a high school diploma
• You have good computer skills
• Driver's license B
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

Meritorious

• Experience in mechanical/technical work that the employer considers relevant

You are a structured and meticulous person with experience prioritizing work based on the needs and demands of the organization. You contribute to a positive work climate and good team spirit. To be considered for employment within the care administration of Kalmar Municipality, you must present an extract from the police criminal record.

As a permanent employee of Kalmar Municipality, you will be assigned to your workplace and are expected to contribute your work during heightened readiness.
