We are now looking for a shift electrician for our modern sawmill in Långasjö who wants to take the next step in their career and contribute to a sustainable future. With us, you will have a workplace where technology meets tradition, and where your commitment makes a difference – every day.
What you will work on at SödraAs a shift electrician, you will be a key person in our maintenance team.
You will, among other things:
Work with the entire factory's electrical equipment
Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and electronic systems
Contribute to both preventive and corrective maintenance to keep production in top shape
You will be part of a close-knit team of electricians and mechanics who together create safety and quality in operations. The work is independent but involves close collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, and technical experts.
The position is a permanent full-time employment, located in Långasjö.
Who are we looking for?We believe you have an electrical engineering education at least at the high school level with a focus on electrical power or automation. You are self-driven, confident in making decisions, and have several years of experience as an industrial electrician in the manufacturing or process industry.
We would like you to have:
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Computer skills and a B driver's license
Experience with control systems/PLC, inverters, and SCADA
Extra points if you have general electrical authorization and/or experience with LEAN.
As a person, you are meticulous, social, and enjoy taking initiative. You thrive on solving problems and working both independently and in a team.
