About the Role

As a truck mechanic at Atteviks, the job is about more than just performing service. You are the face of vehicle reliability. Your main task is to carry out service and repairs on heavy vehicles, focusing on Scania.

We believe in doing the job right from the start. This means you have an eye for detail and can identify potential faults before they lead to a breakdown.

Your main responsibilities:

• Service and repairs of trucks and heavy vehicles.
• Troubleshooting.
• Conduct thorough checks to ensure the highest quality and safety.
• Documentation and stamping of completed work in the system.

The work is physical and varied; one moment you are troubleshooting advanced electronics, the next you are working with mechanical tasks that require strength and the right technique. You will work in a modern workshop with good tools and lifts, but the role still requires good physical fitness. You should view the job long-term and have a strong desire to learn more and develop within the company. You will receive training through their general agent Scania.

Here you will be offered a secure workplace with working hours Monday to Friday (07:00–16:00). On-call and overtime may occur.

Requirements:

• Automotive technical education (high school or vocational) or equivalent experience that we assess as comparable.
• Fluent Swedish in spoken and written form (required for documentation and internal contacts).
• Driver's license B.
• Good physical condition as the job involves heavy tasks and varying working positions.

Meritorious:

• Experience with Scania or other heavy vehicles.
• Driver's license C or CE.
