Technician in Electrical and Access Control Systems at Kalmar County Hospital

Do you want to work with technology in a socially important organization where your work contributes to the healthcare functioning every day? We are now looking for a technician in electrical and access control systems for property management at Kalmar County Hospital.

The position involves a wide range of tasks within operation and service at our properties in Kalmar and surrounding areas. The work is flexible with great responsibility where you independently work with the operation and service of our electrical installations, access control systems, and other property technical installations. You will work both in response to issues and on requests from our customers. Preventive maintenance of our databases is also included according to our supervision and maintenance program.

After an introductory period, you will participate in our on-call work, with a response time to Kalmar County Hospital of no more than 45 minutes.

About You

You have an education as an electrician or training in electrical engineering/telecommunications. Alternatively, you have other education and skills that the employer assesses as equivalent. To succeed in the position, you need to have several years of experience in service and maintenance, preferably in a larger organization. It is also desirable that you have knowledge or experience working with ASSA's security/access systems. As Region Kalmar County invests in new and modern properties that involve extensive technology and security, you need to have good IT skills. The position requires that you have a valid driver's license (B).

We currently have 30 technicians, eight engineers, and two administrators who together work with the daily operation of our properties in southern Kalmar County. We offer daytime work Monday–Friday with the possibility of flexible working hours. The position is located at Kalmar County Hospital.
