The care for people with disabilities (OF) is one of four areas within the Social Administration. Our operation has about 200 employees and includes housing and daily activities. We collaborate on various issues with different areas, administrations, regions, and authorities. Our values are important – they shape everything we do and serve as our guiding star.

We are now looking for a service assistant for Pilbacken, an LSS housing facility focused on psychiatry. As a service assistant, you will perform service tasks to free up time for care staff that can instead be dedicated to the users.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a service assistant, you will work closely with care staff and perform service tasks that do not require medical training. Great emphasis is placed on creating a pleasant living and dining environment for the users together with the care staff. The position is for 70-100%.

Your tasks will include:

• Cleaning of common areas
• Food and grocery handling
• Cooking, serving, dishwashing, and waste management
• Final cleaning, infection cleaning, and laundry handling may occur

QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you have previous experience in cleaning, the restaurant industry, or another service profession. We place great importance on personal qualities.

As a service assistant, you are responsible, proactive, meticulous, and service-oriented. You need to be attentive and have a good ability to collaborate with both users and colleagues. You understand the importance of focusing on the operation by being flexible and having a warm approach in your work. For us, it is natural that you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where job satisfaction is a priority.
