We are now looking for a Shift Maintenance Technician for our sawmill in Orrefors who wants to contribute to high operational reliability and availability in our production. The role is an important part of our maintenance team and gives you the opportunity to work with both preventive and corrective maintenance in a modern industrial environment.

We are currently seeking a shift Maintenance Technician for Södra's sawmill in Orrefors. In this role, you will work with corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, improvement work, and participate in the department's operational development. We strive to create high availability in the facility. The position offers you a varied and responsible job where you work both independently and as part of a team with other maintenance technicians and electricians.

The position is a permanent employment with placement at Södra's sawmill in Orrefors.

Working hours are scheduled for 2 shifts. Start date is according to agreement.

We are looking for someone who has completed a high school education with a focus on mechanics or equivalent work experience. You have a positive attitude, are service-oriented, and have a good technical understanding. As a person, you also have the ability to see connections and actively seek solutions to problems. Furthermore, we believe that you are proactive and enjoy working both independently and in a group.

For us at Södra, workplace safety and security are important issues, so you need to be safety-conscious. In addition, you have good knowledge of Swedish and English as well as a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you also have;

-Experience in maintenance of machinery or have worked in some form of production flow

-Worked with preventive maintenance/systematically

-Experience with hydraulics

-Good computer skills
