We are seeking employees to strengthen our operations in Kalmar, from April 1 to September 30.

As a property caretaker, you will be responsible for the internal and external maintenance for our customers and become part of a team that handles daily management. In addition to reporting issues, residents and customers request various small services such as repair tasks in homes and premises. Ongoing contact with residents, customers, and contractors is therefore an essential part of the job. You will also handle the purchase of consumables and care for your own work equipment.

The role of property caretaker is varied and allows for independence and responsibility. Your daily tasks include:

• Regular maintenance following reported issues
• Troubleshooting
• Managing daily customer contacts
• Cleaning inspections

You will work on a mobile phone or computer to receive and report your work. You will work both independently and with your colleagues, and you are expected to solve the challenges you face in your work on your own. You plan your workday together with your colleagues and your team leader.

You contribute with your skills and engagement

We are looking for someone who is curious, unpretentious, and helpful. We want you to have the ability to see and meet our customers' needs. We want you to be a team player who supports your colleagues. You should have a positive attitude towards your work, our customers, and your coworkers. It is also important that you are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and able to organize your work efficiently.

You have a high school education and/or vocational training focused on property management or administration. Experience in trades such as electrical work and/or plumbing is a plus.

Since computers and mobile phones are a natural part of the work for all employees at Riksbyggen, we prefer that you have some computer skills and can handle a computer in your job. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills through internal training.

The position requires a B driver's license and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

This is a seasonal full-time position from April 1 to September 30, 2026. The position is based in Kalmar, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.
