We are now looking for a senior requirements analyst for a long-term and socially important assignment within the development of analytical applications. The assignment is aimed at those who have extensive experience in requirements work in complex IT environments and who thrive in a role with many stakeholders, high security requirements, and significant business responsibility.

The assignment is part of a larger IT program where applications are developed to manage and analyze large amounts of data related to the planning and development of transmission networks as well as data exchange with Nordic system operators.

About the Role

As a requirements analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, documenting, and communicating both functional and non-functional requirements. You will act as a bridge between the business, projects, delivery teams, and suppliers, ensuring that the solutions meet the business needs, technical conditions, and security requirements.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with data scientists, power system analysts, architects, test leaders, and project managers. The delivery teams work in an agile manner, and the role requires solid experience in agile requirements work.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and document requirements through workshops, interviews, and analyses
• Break down requirements into value-creating deliveries and define acceptance criteria
• Ensure that requirements are clear, testable, and developable
• Be responsible for the traceability of requirements throughout the development chain
• Anchor and communicate requirements with various stakeholders
• Support testing and quality assurance through requirement validation
• Contribute to the improvement of requirement processes, working methods, and documentation
• Provide methodological support in requirements management to the business's requirement setters
• Participate in procurements where new applications need to be specified

Responsibilities in related roles, such as product owner or UX designer, may occur.

Mandatory Requirements

• Higher education (at least 120 credits/180 ECTS) in IT, electrical engineering, or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience as a requirements analyst in IT, of which at least 5 years in the last 10 years
• Extensive experience in specifying both functional and non-functional requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in agile requirements work (e.g., user stories, MVP)
• At least 5 years of experience with requirements tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Experience in technical requirements specification in IT environments with high security requirements
• Experience in specifying analytical applications that handle large amounts of data
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working as a product owner and/or UX designer
• Experience in specifying network calculation programs or other software for power system analysis
• Experience from the power system or energy industry

Other Information

• The assignment requires security clearance and background checks
• Travel may occur, both within and outside Sweden
• The consultant is expected to be on-site at least about 2–3 days per week
