At E.ON, you are part of making a real difference. We have the size and ambition needed to transition to sustainable energy production in society. Together with our customers and partners, we create superpowers that make a difference – today and for the future.

About us

In the role of Environmental Coordinator, you will belong to the facilities group consisting of 6 dedicated employees. On a daily basis, you will work closely with our operational activities related to the production and distribution of district heating in Norrköping and Söderköping. The team's important mission is to support the business in health, work environment, and environmental matters.

We are now looking for a curious and social Environmental Coordinator who wants to contribute to the work according to our HSE guidelines and the company's vision of a workplace where we thrive and have no injuries to people or the environment.

Your role

As an Environmental Coordinator, you will work closely with production, projects, and contractors to ensure that work is carried out safely according to applicable laws and requirements. In your role, you will meet many people and play an important part in ensuring work methods and the positive development of our safety culture, with a focus on safety first! You will guide the organization in systematic work environment efforts while performing and following up on risk assessments, surveys, and other types of investigations of the work environment. You will also be a key contributor to the execution of safe maintenance stops.

You will contribute to developing routines and instructions and perform safety rounds, inventories, and actions for work environment deficiencies. In your role, you will also hold presentations and training within the area and have a central role in continuously developing and following up on the organization operationally from an HSE perspective.

The position is based in Norrköping.

Your experiences

To succeed in the role, we see that you have an education in work environment, technology, or equivalent, but if you do not have that, your commitment to the area is the most important. We also see that you have worked with work environment issues in some capacity, for example as a work environment engineer, safety representative, leader, or equivalent. If you have worked in heavy industry, HSE issues, or conducted systematic work environment efforts, we are particularly interested in you. English is a requirement as several of our partners come from different countries.

To thrive in the role, we hope that you are passionate about work environment issues and enjoy working in a changing environment. In the role, you will collaborate with a large part of our operations, which means you need to appreciate understanding the needs of different individuals and departments. You understand the importance of risk-aware behavior while always thinking about safety first, and you have the ability to engage the organization based on this. Therefore, the right personality with strong social skills and high integrity will be highly valued. We also see that you, just like us, believe that we always get better together.

Your team

You will be part of a team with broad expertise in many areas and who values collaboration and helping each other. We are a team that enjoys laughter and works with a lack of pretentiousness and openness in everything we do while sharing our knowledge with each other.

Your immediate manager, Fredrik Lindström, is goal-oriented and values honesty. As a leader, Fredrik will support you in developing in your role while giving you the freedom to take significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to come up with your own initiatives.

The position is classified for security, which means that a security check will be conducted before employment.
