Who are we?

Plåtslagaregatan 8 is a special housing facility with 60 apartments, of which 10 are dedicated to dementia care. We are now looking for three new employees for permanent full-time positions.

The organization consists of about 50 employees and is staffed around the clock. We work with a person-centered approach, focusing on the individual's needs. The unit is located in Hageby, close to both nature and urban environments with good transportation links.

We work in teams where you collaborate with your colleagues and other staff to achieve our common goals.

Your Responsibilities

As a care assistant, you will provide the residents with good and safe care in their homes by recognizing and addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. Administrative work is also an important part, which includes documentation. You should be able to manage medication delegation and take responsibility for your tasks while also noticing changes in the residents and seeking help when needed.

You will work towards set operational goals and are expected to contribute to the development of the organization by identifying errors and deficiencies, conducting risk assessments, and suggesting improvements in line with the unit's established goals.

You will collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, supervisors, and licensed staff.

Who are you?

You are a trained care assistant, according to the regulations of the National Board of Health and Welfare. We view it positively if you have previous experience in elderly care and knowledge of low-arousal approaches. We also welcome experience from service professions.

Since two of the positions are located in the dementia department, experience and knowledge in dementia care is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, solution-oriented, and responsible. You work with a user-focused approach and adapt your interactions based on needs and individuals.

The work requires you to be confident, able to work independently, easily adaptable to changing circumstances, and capable of collaborating with residents, colleagues, and other staff.

You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.
