Who are we?

The mission of the Care and Support Office is to meet the needs for support, care, and assistance for people at different stages of life. We are also responsible for providing meals to preschools, schools, and the operations of the Care and Support Office. We work with a user-oriented approach where the work is guided by and based on the user's needs.

Together, we are responsible for leading the operations towards our set goals and creating a meaningful and safe everyday life for all who need our help. With us, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and develop, both as an employee and as a person.

Eskilsvägen 1 is a home care unit based in Skärblacka center. We perform approved services in people's homes within regular housing and operate within the border against Linköping and Finspång. We work with a holistic view within the entire home care service but will work divided into care teams in Skärblacka, Kimstad, and Vånga.

With a user-oriented approach, we primarily help the elderly to live an independent and safe life in their own homes, where we always start from their individual needs and decisions from the assistance officers.

With us, you will meet people with different needs and life situations, and you will have a meaningful job every day. As part of our team, where staff work in different care teams depending on the area, you will have the opportunity to work independently while being an important part of an operation where safety, continuity, close care, and quality are in focus.

Your tasks

As a care assistant in home care, you have an important role in creating safety and quality of life for our users in their own homes. You provide individualized and professional care and pay attention to and meet physical, psychological, and social needs.

You provide personal care that may include assistance with hygiene, dressing, and medication management. You also contribute to a pleasant home environment by helping with household chores such as cleaning, shopping, and laundry.

In addition, you have an important social role where you create safety and community through conversations, walks, or other activities that contribute to the user's well-being.

You work both independently and in good collaboration with colleagues and other professional groups, where together you create quality in care and support.

Documentation is an important part of your work to ensure good continuity and quality. Likewise, contributing to operational development and following the existing routines regarding the work.

You also handle administrative tasks such as orders, contacts with relatives, assistance officers, home healthcare, and registering deviations. You have a close contact person role and establish and follow up implementation plans together with users.

Our operations are scheduled between 07:00-22:00, every day of the week, and you work every other weekend.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations. It is positive if you have experience working in care and support as well as experience in a service profession.

As a person, you are calm, secure, and have a good approach towards those you meet.

You collaborate well with others but also enjoy working independently.

You see what needs to be done and take your own initiative to provide the best possible care.

You are flexible and can adapt when plans change in daily work. You find it easy to prioritize and find solutions in various situations.

You can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Since we work in different areas, we see that you have a B driver's license.
