JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In home care, you will have a varied and independent summer job where you help others in their homes. You will mostly cycle around the city, so if you enjoy being active, this is perfect. Together with wonderful colleagues and care recipients, you will experience both joy and appreciation.

Landskrona Omsorg is now seeking nursing assistants, care assistants, and support assistants for our home care services to provide care and support to residents of Landskrona during the summer period. Here, you will have a unique opportunity to work in a meaningful and important role where you contribute to improving the quality of life for our residents every day.

In the role of nursing assistant/care assistant/support assistant, you will find solutions that have a direct impact on our clients, and you enjoy working independently, having varied tasks, and taking your own initiatives.

What does the role entail?

As a nursing assistant with us, you will:

• Perform health and medical care work in close collaboration with nurses and other healthcare staff.
• Offer personal care and support to our clients based on their needs and wishes.
• Deliver high-quality service to create a safe and dignified daily life for those you assist.
• Follow our clients' daily lives and note their well-being and any changes in health.

The tasks for nursing assistants/care assistants/support assistants can range from helping with personal care and hygiene to light household chores, going for walks, accompanying clients to activities, or playing games together. Additionally, it includes performing health and medical care tasks such as medication delegation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Enjoy working with people
• Can work independently
• Preferably have experience in care work
• Are flexible and attentive
• Can handle modern technology
• Speak and write good Swedish
• Have cycling experience
• Have a driver's license (meritorious)

A criminal record extract will be required for the interview. Certificates/transcripts from your most recent education need to be uploaded with your application along with your CV.
