Combitech is looking for a Consulting Unit Manager for System Security Compliance

Combitech is now seeking a consulting unit manager for the System Security Compliance unit in Stockholm and Umeå, where you will have the opportunity to lead and develop our team in information security. We are looking for someone with experience in leading personnel, preferably consultants, and a background in information security. With us, you can combine your technical expertise with engaged leadership and contribute to addressing future security challenges.

Your role as Consulting Unit Manager

As a consulting unit manager, you have a dual role where you work variably with technical assignments for our clients while also serving as a line manager for a group of 10-15 employees. In this role, you will have traditional personnel responsibility with a clear focus on the personal development of your team members. You will be part of the management team of the results unit together with the results unit manager, where you will work towards common goals and share responsibility for the unit's results and long-term development. As a consulting unit manager, you will be a central cultural bearer at Combitech.

In addition to your leadership, you will also work as a consultant on assignments, which allows you to maintain proximity to the field of information security while continuing to grow in your leadership role. Your tasks will include ensuring that the information security work aligns with legal requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines. You will identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks, manage security in public and private clouds, and review security requirements in cloud services.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who wants to grow in their leadership and is motivated to create engagement and development in others. With a technical college or university education and several years of work experience, you have built confidence in your profession. Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, COMPTIA, and a background in the defense sector are advantageous. You are already comfortable in a leadership role or see leadership as a natural next step in your career.

You find it easy to build relationships with people throughout the organization and find it rewarding to motivate others. You are collaborative, attentive, and engaged in your consultants' assignments. Our clients work with advanced technology and are driven by complex challenges - and we hope you share the same curiosity and drive.

For us, it is important that you have a desire to combine your knowledge of information security and IT security with engaged and present leadership.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security vetting with a background check.
