At the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality, around 3,100 employees work in one of our 39 preschools, 22 schools, high school, adult education, and central administration. The preschools of the Ulvsättra unit are located in Kallhäll and Stäket and include the preschools Ulvsättra, Bolinder, Kopparvägen, Almarevägen, and the Open Preschool in Kallhäll. The unit consists of about 355 children and 65 employees. We offer an inspiring and developing environment with positive and engaged teams. In our operations, all education and teaching are permeated by a language-developing approach where language and communication form a central foundation for our work. We systematically work with our learning environments to promote both play and learning.

Over the past two years, we have implemented a new focus area for the entire unit, which we call “Children in Motion.” The purpose is to harness children's joy of movement, both through pulse-raising activities and planned outdoor pedagogy. The goal is to increase children's physical and mental well-being. In recruitment, we place great emphasis on experience and knowledge regarding outdoor pedagogy and children's physical activity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You collaborate and communicate with your colleagues and create a pedagogical learning environment that challenges and stimulates children's development and learning while ensuring that children are offered safe care. The pedagogical activities are based on each child's conditions and are built on teaching designed in accordance with the curriculum's goals. You organize the work from a holistic perspective, where children's development and learning are continuously and systematically followed, documented, and analyzed to ensure quality. In a systematic way, you reflect on practical work, both individually and together with others, while keeping yourself updated and utilizing new research and events in the world. You are a clear and inspiring leader who handles changing situations and different people's behaviors. It is important that you create a good relationship with children, guardians, and colleagues, characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach as well as positive expectations.

In Järfälla, we have developed a strategy for increased quality in Järfälla's preschools. It is divided into four strategic areas:

• Competence in all levels of preschool (one of the sub-goals is at least one preschool teacher per 15 children)
• Organize the preschool so that conditions exist to promote learning and safety
• Awaken children's curiosity and desire to learn
• An active quality work in preschool

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a pedagogical leader for the team who leads, motivates, creates participation, and conditions for collegial learning
• Listens, communicates, and resolves conflicts constructively. You collaborate and communicate with your colleagues in the team regarding the knowledge assignment and choose methods to achieve set goals
• Is outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. Contacts children and guardians and can build and maintain a safe relationship
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively. Sets and adheres to timelines
• Has a positive attitude towards your work and acts in accordance with decisions made, operational plans, goals, policies, and guidelines.
• Understands how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others. Aware of how one's own values influence and guide one's actions and reactions
• Shows understanding of women's and men's/girls' and boys' different conditions in society. Treats everyone equally and acts to promote equal treatment regarding resources, opportunities, and accessibility

Requirements:

• Preschool teacher degree
• Preschool teacher license

Meritorious:

• Previous experience working in preschool
• Training in Före Bornholm
• Training in TAKK

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

Probationary employment may be applied.
