JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a material planner at our central warehouse, we offer you an exciting and varied job in an operation that is constantly evolving to meet the demands of healthcare and authorities. There is great opportunity to shape both working methods and the role itself, with some initial process development leading to fully taking on the role of material planner.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • Ensuring delivery reliability.
  • Participating in product launches and phase-outs.
  • Being responsible for the following key metrics: service level, waste, and inventory coverage, among others.
  • Managing escalation of issues related to delivery or production problems.
  • Conducting root cause analysis of waste and service level on a weekly basis, as well as daily reporting of service level and waste.
  • Being an active part in improving processes both between departments and internally within Region Skåne.
  • Participating in both large and small projects and contributing to improvement work.
  • Maintaining purchasing and planning parameters in our ERP system.
  • Being a central part of the ERP implementation as a superuser, (SME), or similar.

In this central role within Region Skåne, it is important that you build a network and maintain close contact with other functions such as warehousing, 3PL, distribution, customer service, production, transport, and other internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a strong personal drive and an ability to create consensus across organizational boundaries while delivering results with clear business benefits. Regarding formal qualifications, you have a relevant university or college education in, for example, Supply Chain Management, or other education combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position. You have previously worked as a material planner and have extensive experience working with business systems. Since the job requires both written and verbal communication, you need to be proficient in both Swedish and English.
