Make a difference this summer – grow with us!

About the team & role

You will be part of Flexibility Solutions within E.ON Energidistribution – an engaged team of twelve people that has been working since 2022 to develop and implement flexibility solutions in the electricity grid. Together, we explore how smarter use of electricity can contribute to the electrification of Sweden. The team is characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a willingness to try new things.

As a summer intern, you are an important addition to the team and will work closely with both analysts and operations. The role suits you if you enjoy delving into questions while appreciating dialogue and collaborative problem-solving.

Your main tasks this summer:

  • Contribute to improving and streamlining our analysis methods.
  • Help modernize analysis materials for flexibility investigations.
  • Adapt and further develop Python scripts for our QlikSense environment.
  • Produce clear documentation to support future management.
  • Participate in other analysis tasks related to market data, forecasts, and load in the electricity grid.

As a summer intern with us, you will gain a unique insight into how flexibility solutions enable the energy transition in practice. At the same time, you will develop your skills in analysis and programming and gain experience working with real challenges in a socially significant context.

About you

We believe you will thrive with us if you are curious, reflective, and enjoy understanding how things are interconnected. You do not need to know everything from the start – the most important thing is that you want to learn and share your thoughts.

  • You are studying at a university, preferably in a technical field such as energy systems, energy technology, electrification, or similar.
  • You enjoy solving problems, asking questions, and exploring different approaches.
  • You have an interest in energy systems, data analysis, and how digitalization can contribute to a more sustainable society.
  • You feel comfortable communicating in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have experience in programming, preferably in Python, and are curious about reading and understanding others' code.

What you get with us

At E.ON, you get more than just a summer job – you get a chance to contribute, learn, and have fun along the way. Here awaits a meaningful assignment where you contribute to a sustainable energy system. You will receive a secure introduction and guidance so that you quickly feel confident in both working methods and routines. In addition, you will become part of an inclusive culture where different perspectives and experiences make us even better together.
