Make a difference this summer – grow with us!

About the team & role We at HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) are here to support managers and employees within E.ON Energidistribution on issues related to health, work environment, and the environment. Our mission is to create conditions for a strong and sustainable HSE culture where it is easy to do right and hard to do wrong.

The work within HSE consists of three main areas. In structure and governance, we ensure that there are clear processes, working methods, and follow-up related to HSE, in line with legislation and internal requirements. In competence and awareness, we work with training, communication, and dialogue to spread knowledge and strengthen engagement around HSE issues among both employees and suppliers. Finally, we are responsible for practical methods and tools that help the organization prevent accidents, ill health, and negative environmental impact.

During the summer, you will help us conduct an annual desk audit where we follow up that we and our contractors work according to our established processes and requirements related to environmental plans and work environment plans. The role involves structured and analytical work with documentation and follow-up, in close dialogue with HSE specialists.

Examples of tasks:

  • Conduct desk audits of environmental and work environment plans
  • Follow up that internal requirements and processes are adhered to
  • Review documentation related to environmental and work environment work
  • Compile and document results of completed reviews

As a summer intern with us, you will gain practical experience in working with environmental and work environment issues, even in collaboration with contractors. You will become part of an engaged HSE team and have the opportunity to join field visits to see how the electricity grid is built and maintained.

About you This role is for you who are studying at university with a technical or natural science focus, such as environmental science, risk engineering, or civil engineering with a focus on environment, risk, or work environment. You have an interest in environmental and work environment issues and basic knowledge of relevant legislation. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and responsible, and you easily absorb and analyze information. You communicate clearly and fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and enjoy working independently as well as collaboratively with others.

What you get with us At E.ON, you get more than just a summer job – you get a chance to contribute, learn, and have fun along the way. Here awaits a meaningful mission where you contribute to a sustainable energy system. You will receive a secure introduction and guidance so that you quickly feel confident in both working methods and routines. In addition, you will be part of an inclusive culture where different perspectives and experiences make us even better together.
