Sports and Wellness Leader Wanted at K 4 in Arvidsjaur
K 4 in Arvidsjaur is a small regiment, which means closeness to everything, both within the organization and among colleagues. K 4 trains, develops, and leads ranger units with the qualified ability to operate deep within the enemy's grouping in a subarctic environment.
K 4 is looking for a substitute for a Sports and Wellness Leader based in Arvidsjaur, who wants to be part of creating an organization under reconstruction. About the Unit
The Garrison Support Unit belongs to K 4 and supports with training and shooting ranges, simulators, sports and wellness, expedition/archive, reception, and BVKF. The Sports and Wellness Department is a resource for the units in Arvidsjaur, where the main task is to support the implementation of the operational units' physical performance capability. The position offers good conditions for wellness and a good balance between work and private life.
Main Responsibilities
The Sports and Wellness Department works with arrangements focusing on training, health, and competition. The department supports the physical training for all units at K 4 with equipment, training, facilities, tests, and venues. The work primarily targets K 4 employees and recruits.
Additional responsibilities that may be included in the position:
- lead planning and execution of competition arrangements.
- plan and lead training activities and physical wellness for employees.
- participate in training within the subject of physical performance capability.
- support the unit in implementing the Armed Forces' physical standard basic level and additional tests.
- inform about the department's activities through various media.
- support the operation and maintenance of K 4 sports facilities.
- inventory and service of sports equipment.
- equip and support participants for Armed Forces competitions.
Working in the department means that you meet colleagues daily within, but also outside, the Armed Forces.
As K 4 is in an ongoing reconstruction process, the scope of tasks and working methods may change. You need to be prepared to perform tasks that arise outside the ordinary when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Three-year upper secondary education (with approved final grades) or equivalent education/work experience that the employer deems relevant.
- Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in Swedish.
- Good computer skills with a solid knowledge of MS Office.
- Good administrative ability.
- Driving license B.

DESIRABLE
- Previous service in the Armed Forces or another government agency.
- Experience in pedagogical work.
- Experience working in the Armed Forces' administrative systems (PRIO/SAP and VIDAR).
- Experience coordinating and leading activities.
- Post-secondary education in Sports and Wellness or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
Other
Employment type: Substitute, until September 1, 2027, but no longer than during the absence of the regular incumbent.
Employment degree: Full-time, working hours are primarily during the day, but work during evenings, nights, and weekends may occur.
