Responsibilities

As a service worker with us, you will work with patient-related services and cleaning at Mölndal Hospital. You will be part of a team of 13 employees working in different units within the organization. Together with the healthcare staff, you create a safe, clean, and secure healthcare environment for patients and visitors! The team works in a structured manner and with great precision, contributing to high patient safety every day. Through your commitment, you help provide patients with a better healthcare experience and ensure the organization runs smoothly. The work is performed close to patients.

Your responsibilities include:

Patient-related service: This includes meal management, including preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, and dinner to patients. Ordering food and patient meals, unpacking materials, and restocking supplies are also part of the tasks.
Cleaning: You are responsible for keeping the department clean and hygienic according to applicable routines, which includes daily cleaning of the department and final cleaning of care places after discharged patients.

The position is permanent, with a probationary period that may apply.

Qualifications

You have a basic education and possess basic IT skills; you can use a smartphone, tablet, email, and search for information online without problems. Your knowledge of the Swedish language is good; you can communicate with others and understand both verbal and written instructions. You have the physical ability to walk and stand throughout the workday, lift heavy objects, or perform repetitive tasks.

To be suitable for the position, you are service-oriented, have a good attitude, and enjoy helping others. You find it easy to collaborate and do not hesitate to assist your colleagues when needed. In a hospital, conditions can change quickly, and new situations may arise, which means you will need to use your ability to be flexible.

If you have previously worked in patient-related services or in a hospital environment, we see that as an advantage, as well as education in cleaning (SRY or equivalent), experience in food management/meal service, or experience working in a team.
