Support Assistant at Regnbågen Short-Term Accommodation
If you still have a childlike spirit and are eager for an exciting and varied assignment, then this workplace is for you! We are looking for a support assistant who wants to join the team at Regnbågen short-term accommodation, where you will be offered independent work with great responsibility.
About the Position
Your mission is to create safety in our operations through structure and individual solutions, and to provide the children and young people living at Regnbågen short-term accommodation with good conditions for well-being and meaningfulness. The young people need your support in their daily lives, and good routines and clear structure are important tools in our work. We place great emphasis on guiding and strengthening each individual's ability to live independently. You will be the young people's support in various daily tasks, care, communication, and leisure activities. We also work closely with networks and other agencies within habilitation and health care, where we expect you to be involved. Working hours are mainly scheduled during evenings and weekends.
The position is 80% with a flexible schedule and involves night shifts. You will work awake nights, with weekend work every other weekend. If needed, two evening shifts per month may also occur.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Create a safe environment for the young people.
- Be the support for the young people in all different situations, e.g., care, communication.
- Plan and pedagogically carry out various activities with the young people, e.g., swimming, playing.
- Take care of the house with cleaning, laundry, cooking, and similar tasks.

About You
For this position, you need:
- Education focused on disabilities or equivalent experience.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
- Driver's license (B).
- Good physical condition.
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Swimming skills.
- Experience with low-arousal responses.
- Experience with individuals with autism and disabilities.
You need to be confident in working independently. Your approach and pedagogical ability are prerequisites for being able to perform the most important tasks, which are done together with the children. You will be part of a team where collegial support is important and where good collaboration skills are required. For us, it is important that you have a positive outlook, that you retain your childlike spirit, and that you enjoy challenges!

About Us
Regnbågen is an LSS short-term accommodation for children aged 5-13 years. The house is located in a residential area close to a playground and the city center. In the summer, the terrace and the beautiful garden are frequently used for various activities such as jumping on a trampoline and playing ball.
We are part of Tiohundra – the complete care company in Roslagen.
