Temporary Substitute Positions at Ulvsättra Unit Preschools

At the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality, approximately 3,100 employees work in one of our 39 preschools, 22 schools, high school, adult education, and central administration. In the Ulvsättra unit's preschools, Kopparvägen, Bolinder, Ulvsättra, and Almarevägen preschools are located in Kallhäll and Stäket. We offer an inspiring and developing environment with positive and engaging teams. In the unit, we have a language-developing approach where language and communication are the starting point and should permeate the entire education. We constantly work on our learning environments to attract play and learning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a temporary substitute, you will work in preschool and replace regular staff during their absence. The needs of the units completely dictate how much work you will receive, and we cannot guarantee you work every day. Since our operations are mostly closed during the summer, we primarily have needs during the school terms.

You should live within a reasonable distance from Järfälla to be able to reach the workplaces in a reasonable time.

The operation should be fun, safe, and educational for all children. As a temporary substitute, you work for a safe and secure environment that attracts children to play and learn. In collaboration with the team, you will implement the educational activities. You will work with all routine situations, such as meals, children's daily hygiene, dressing/undressing, educational play, cleaning, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

We primarily seek someone with a preschool teacher education. Previous experience working with children is considered an asset.

You must enjoy and see it as a challenge to work in new workplaces and collaborate with new colleagues. Since the position requires you to quickly contribute to a good work effort, you must be able to work independently and have the ability to take your own initiative. The work requires good social skills and you should enjoy working outdoors part of the day.

As our employees work Monday to Friday on a schedule with working hours between 06:30 and 17:30, we are looking for someone who can work during these hours.

You should be able to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Before any employment can take place, a background check will be conducted. If you are offered employment with us, it is also required by law that you present a criminal record for employment to be relevant. The criminal record is referred to as "Criminal Record for Preschool Activities/School/School Childcare" and can be ordered from the Police's website. Note that the criminal record must be a maximum of 1 year old from the date of issue.

As we often have a high number of applicants, it may sometimes take a while before we provide feedback.

We conduct interviews continuously during the application period, and the interviews will take place digitally. The position may be filled before the application deadline. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
