A job close to life and death

As a customer advisor/representative, you create trust and confidence with our customers and are the guide in a time that for many is filled with grief and uncertainty. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. You take overall responsibility for planning and adapting the ceremony according to the customer's needs and wishes while always having the support of colleagues who are close at hand. Some of the tasks include:

  • Meeting relatives and providing advice on planning and conducting the funeral ceremony, including choosing the type of ceremony, coffins, urns, and other details
  • Preparing cost estimates, handling invoicing and payments
  • Coordinating and liaising with external suppliers such as florists, parishes, faith communities, and authorities
  • Acting as a representative in churches, chapels, and other gathering places in connection with ceremonies
  • Handling the deceased during pickups, personal farewells, and preparation for the ceremony
  • Providing support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the funeral process, from the first meeting to subsequent follow-up

We are now looking for a colleague for our customer area Stockholm Sydost – a large area with offices in Enskede, Tyresö, Årsta, Farsta, Nynäshamn, Haninge, Nacka, Södermalm, Östermalm, and Lidingö.

The role of a mobile customer advisor means that you will move throughout the entire customer area and help us staff as needed, so it is important that you have a positive view of traveling and have great flexibility for this. At Fonus, we work as a team and help each other, which means you will work with colleagues in several different offices.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date by agreement. Fonus applies a 6-month probationary period.

What you bring

  • Experience in service and/or sales
  • Experience in customer-focused work
  • Documented experience of teamwork
  • Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems as well as the Office package
  • Have a B driver's license, access to your own car, and be comfortable driving larger vehicles

We consider it an advantage if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related fields.
