About Löttinge Group Home

Löttinge Group Home opened in September 2024 and is located in Löttingelund in Täby. The group home consists of six apartments and a common area. The residents of Löttinge Group Home are individuals within person circle 1, with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Löttingelund is an area with villas and townhouses. The group home is close to natural areas and Rönningesjön, which has a swimming area.

About the Job

As a support assistant, you are responsible for ensuring that the users receive the support, care, and attention they need and are entitled to. You work independently and goal-oriented based on the organization's routines and implementation plans. You facilitate individual development based on the user's own conditions. Your tasks include providing practical support with personal care, meals, cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks as needed, based on preferences and implementation plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining common areas such as the common room, laundry room, and staff room. You will work closely with relatives and/or guardians as well as various resource teams. You possess the ability to find solutions in daily work, contribute to a good work environment, and actively participate in quality work. You use and share knowledge gained through training.

In the role of support assistant, certain medical tasks are also included. You are responsible for following the instructions delegated by health and medical staff.

Your job may include responsibilities and representative roles that exist within the organization.

As a support assistant, you actively work with individual adaptations and communication aids. In Täby municipality, we use communication tools such as Symbolbruket.

Qualifications

Requirements:

You who are applying have completed the child and leisure program, health and care program, educational assistant training at a vocational college, or other educational training deemed equivalent by the employer.

You have experience working with individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. You should have a low-arousal approach and knowledge of clarifying pedagogy. You have good computer skills and very good knowledge of social documentation. The job also requires that you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

It is an advantage if you have training in clarifying pedagogy, AAC, sign language, and low-arousal responses. A driver's license is also a plus.

Personal Competence:

You have the ability to think and perform tasks/activities independently within the framework of the organization. You enjoy challenges, remain calm in stressful situations, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills. Being involved in and contributing to a good work environment is a given for you.

We are looking for 1 employee for a schedule of days/evenings/weekends. The position is 90%.

The position requires that you master the Swedish language very well, both spoken and written. You need to be able to speak, read, document, and understand instructions in Swedish.
