We are now looking for an experienced Backend Developer to our Tracking Information team in Solna, Stockholm. Here you will develop and maintain central systems that handle large amounts of data and enable real-time tracking for PostNord's customers across the Nordics.

About the role

You will design and develop robust microservices in Java running in a Kubernetes environment. Our systems are business-critical and require stability, clear structure, and high quality.

We work with mob and pair programming, and the team owns the code together – from idea and design to production and further development. With us, you will find an environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and security are central.

Who are you?

We place great importance on personality and attitude. We are looking for someone who is engaged, curious, and takes responsibility for their work. For us, your drive, willingness to develop, and ability to collaborate are at least as important as the technical skills.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development in Java (preferably Java 21 / SE+)
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience working in teams that develop and are responsible for production-critical services
• Desirable
• Experience with Spring Boot or another modern Java environment
• Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka, SNS/SQS or similar)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud platforms like AWS
• Speaks Swedish or another Nordic language
