Professional Galaxy is looking for a Software Developer - SDK on behalf of our client.

Requirements Profile We are looking for an experienced software developer who wants to join an advanced SDK team within embedded systems and image technology.

The role suits you if you thrive in a technically complex environment where software meets hardware, and where you get to work closely with performance-critical solutions. The SDK is used on multiple platforms – embedded, desktop, and mobile – and the team is also responsible for its own build and test environment, where you as a consultant are expected to actively participate in improvement and further development.

The work is primarily done in modern C++ and GPU-related code, but the team also uses technologies such as C, .NET, Java, Swift, and Python.

Requirements Profile Several years of experience in modern C++ development Good understanding of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, USB, or similar Experience in image processing, image analysis, or camera-based systems (e.g., OpenCV) Practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Experience in development on multiple platforms, e.g., Windows and Linux Very good problem-solving skills, debugging, and optimization

Desirable Competencies GPU acceleration Hardware-near programming Multi-platform development AI/ML-oriented image analysis Git, Jira, or equivalent tools

Other The assignment is on-site in northern Stockholm.
