About the role of Technical Documenter

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a Technical Documenter in our selectivity team. The team belongs to the Asset Management & Operation function and works to ensure a robust and safe electrical system. The department also provides technical support to regional network projects and internal operations with a focus on the control and protection systems of the stations, such as relay protection, voltage regulation, and selectivity planning. In this department, your primary tasks will include:

Responsibilities

• Registering and quality assuring relay protection settings and associated test and trial data in Ellevio's new database, including importing and structuring information from, for example, Excel to the database for the protection of power and overhead lines.
• Interpreting and structuring technical information regarding overcurrent, earth faults, and protection functions for lines.
• Ensuring that data is entered in the correct place in the system according to guidelines and internal procedures.
• Managing and organizing technical documentation for the team and external parties.

Secondary tasks:

• CAD drawing of circuit diagrams.
• Practical work in a test laboratory, including building and connecting circuits without voltage.

Who are you?

• We are looking for someone studying electrical engineering or a similar technical program, e.g., bachelor of engineering or vocational training in control equipment.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent in Swedish.
• Experience with CAD is an advantage.
• Experience with laboratory electrical engineering work is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is very meticulous, structured, and organized. You are curious, proactive, and forward-thinking, with the ability to take responsibility and work independently. The role requires a person who enjoys details, can interpret technical documents, and has an interest in technology and documentation.

Start: May 1, 2026
End: August 28, 2026
Scope: During May, 1-2 days a week, full-time for the remaining period with the possibility of vacation in July

The recruitment process
