Do you want to work with electronics that demand high reliability, quality, and technical precision? We are currently looking for several electronics engineers for a high-tech product development company operating in critical societal technology, where advanced systems are developed for demanding applications.

Here you will be offered a role close to both technology and product, in an organization where long-term thinking, quality, and technical excellence are central parts of everyday life.

About the role

As an electronics engineer at our client, you will work on developing and further developing electronics that constitute a central part of the company's technical solutions.

The role is product-oriented and encompasses the entire development process, from early technical investigations and concept work to design, verification, and final solution. You will work on several aspects of development and gain a broad insight into how electronics interact with other parts of the system.

Your work includes design at the circuit board level, working with analog and digital electronics, as well as developing embedded systems and firmware. You will participate in integration, testing, and verification, and work closely with colleagues in mechanics, software, projects, and production.

The technical breadth is significant and can include areas such as VHDL, antenna technology, radio, and EMC, depending on projects and interests. The role suits you who want to combine design work with practical work in a lab environment.

Requirements and background

Basic requirements

  • University degree in electronics or electrical engineering, or equivalent practical competence.

  • At least five years of relevant experience in electronics development in product-oriented environments.

  • Experience working closely with hardware, for example at the circuit board level.

  • Familiarity with working in technology-intensive environments with high demands on quality and reliability.

  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

  • Experience with both hardware and software for embedded systems.

  • Experience from safety-critical or particularly demanding technical environments.

  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: embedded/firmware, EMC, radio/antenna technology, or VHDL.

Personal qualities

As a person, you are technically curious, meticulous, and responsible. You enjoy working practically, testing, measuring, troubleshooting, and gradually improving your designs.

You have a structured approach to work, good ability to plan and document your work, and you collaborate naturally with colleagues in cross-functional teams. You are unpretentious, eager to share your knowledge, and appreciate working in an environment where people help each other.

Other information

Location: Karlskoga or Karlstad. Start: By agreement. Scope: Full-time, permanent.

The position involves work in a security-sensitive environment and requires an approved security clearance according to Chapter 1, Section 3 of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). In some cases, there may also be requirements for certain citizenship.

This recruitment is conducted in collaboration with A-hub, and if you are offered the position, you will be directly employed by our client.

By submitting your application for this position, you consent to A-hub processing your personal data in accordance with our GDPR policy.
