Care Assistants and Nursing Assistants!

We are looking for individuals who want to work in home care or at nursing homes.

As an employee with us, you will have a developing and varied job where you directly contribute to the well-being of the elderly. We offer paid introductory training in both theoretical and practical aspects, followed by paid orientation at your designated workplace. You will have a designated mentor who will welcome you and guide you during your introduction at the workplace. If we enjoy working together, there are good opportunities to continue working as a substitute after the summer period.

Kärnhusets Home Care and Night Patrol.

The tasks are performed in the person's home throughout the municipality. Home care can be provided around the clock if needed. You will work and be scheduled within one of three home care groups and will travel on foot, by bicycle, electric bike, or car depending on where your visits are in Håbo municipality. You will use the workplace's vehicles and have a common workplace where you start and end your day and take breaks with your colleagues.

Solängen, Dalängen, Pomona, and Parkgården Nursing Homes.

Our nursing homes have both somatic units and units for individuals with dementia.

Short-term Accommodation at Plommonvägen.

The short-term accommodation hosts individuals with various support and assistance needs for shorter periods.

At nursing homes and short-term accommodations, staff are available around the clock for residents or visitors. You will work and be scheduled at the short-term accommodation or nursing home that is your workplace during your substitute position.

Your Responsibilities

You will perform all various tasks at the workplace that are both care and service-oriented. Examples of tasks include personal care, meals, social interaction, activities, shopping, escorting, delegated health care tasks, social documentation, etc.

Qualifications

The nursing program or equivalent is meritorious but not required. A driver's license is advantageous for work in certain home care units. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Personal Attributes

You need to be attentive, helpful, and flexible. You should enjoy and find it easy to make contact with others. You like to collaborate and are solution-focused. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We are looking for individuals who have their heart in the right place and understand the importance of providing what creates added value and enhances the quality of life for our clients. Experience in care and social work is preferred but not required.

Recruitment will take place continuously during the application period, and there are great opportunities to start orientation and employment in the spring.

As part of the interview process, you will take a vocabulary and language test. If you progress and are considered for employment, you will need to submit a criminal record extract. Håbo municipality is a Finnish administrative area, so proficiency in Finnish is advantageous.
