Welcome to the Health and Care Administration
We work with support and care for the elderly and for people with disabilities. The goal is for them to be able to live as active and independent lives as possible.
The Health and Care Administration is one of Sweden's largest employers in municipal care. Here, about 7,500 employees work based on our core values – making a difference, working together, and welcoming innovation. With us, there are great opportunities to take responsibility, develop, and contribute with your expertise. We strive for an organizational culture built on trust and pride in our work.

Within the Health and Care Administration, full-time work is the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. More information about what this means for this position will be provided during a potential interview. Exceptions to the full-time norm are personal assistants.
We are now looking for someone to help shape a new team for Intensive Home Rehabilitation in Uppsala!
In this team, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists work together to strengthen people's independence in their daily lives. Here, you will work closely around each patient, where your different competencies complement each other and form the foundation for safe, effective, and person-centered rehabilitation. This is a unique opportunity to influence the direction from the start and be part of shaping future working methods.
Your tasks
As a physiotherapist with us, you will be a central part of the team's work around the user. You will work person-centered and closely with daily life, where your efforts have a direct impact on the individual's recovery and independence.
Your role includes, among other things:
- assessing the need for and performing physiotherapeutic treatments
- evaluating treatment results and adjusting efforts as needed
- guiding care staff in rehabilitative working methods
- delegating physiotherapeutic efforts to care staff and following up
- participating in team collaboration around users, including fall risk assessments and work in Senior Alert
You will be involved in shaping working methods, routines, and team culture in a completely new operation, an opportunity to create something long-lasting and sustainable from the ground up.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- is a licensed physiotherapist
- has experience working with operational systems and is quick to learn new digital tools
- has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- has a B driver's license
Meritorious
- experience working with elderly people and age-related diseases
Personal competencies
To build this new team, we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a role where you collaborate closely with colleagues and independently take responsibility for your efforts. You easily adapt to changes and see opportunities when circumstances shift. You work goal- and result-oriented and have a structured approach where you plan, communicate, and follow up on your tasks clearly.
At the same time, you are attentive and have good collaboration skills, you build trust, contribute to good relationships, and can handle discussions and differences constructively. You are development-oriented and motivated to test new working methods, drive improvements, and contribute to creating a modern, person-centered, and sustainable home rehabilitation.
Other
The position extends until the end of the year when the investment in Intensive Home Rehabilitation will be evaluated as part of the municipality's development work.
