IT Management Leader

About the Position

We are now looking for an IT Management Leader for our most important management object, Grid Operations, which includes mission-critical systems with high demands on availability, security, and functionality.

You will be responsible for ensuring that agreed commitments between the IT department and the business are met. In practice, this means that you will drive the work according to the approved management plan, plan and lead the work, initiate development activities, manage the IT systems' budget and resource allocation, handle suppliers, and manage follow-up and reporting to IT and the business.

The role involves close collaboration with the unit manager and also includes project management. You are development-oriented and motivated to drive change and improvement work. You will be part of a network with other management leaders and are expected to work with general business development within application management and development. You will handle issues at all levels: operational, tactical, and strategic, so it is important that you are unpretentious and can easily understand the technical issues at hand.

The unit you will join consists of just over 20 people and is part of the IT department for Power Systems and Balancing.

As an IT Management Leader, you will have the opportunity to participate in projects that contribute to the development of Sweden's power system. Svenska kraftnät is an expert authority, which gives you the opportunity to learn a lot from experts in many fields. You will collaborate with external suppliers, both Nordic and international. In this role, you will work within sensitive operations and will continuously develop in the field.

About You

Personal Qualities

To be successful in this role, you need to have good collaboration skills as the role involves many internal and external contacts. When the workload increases, you need to be stable and have a good ability to plan and organize work according to set goals. You are analytical and enjoy solving problems in a complex environment. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Requirements

You have an academic degree with a focus on IT and/or system science or equivalent competence obtained in another way. You also have:

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• At least 5 years of documented experience in IT system management and IT system operations in large and medium-sized organizations.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position, project leader, team leader, or management leader.

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in managing business-critical systems/services.
• Experience in establishing routines and working methods within effective IT operations and management.
• Experience in supplier management.
• Experience in IT security work.
• Experience in sensitive operations.
• Certification and experience in one or more: pm3, ITIL, SCRUM/SAFe, and/or project methods.

• Some possibility for remote work.
• Travel may occur in individual cases.
