Licensed Psychologist at Lugnviks Health Center

Do you want to be part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to long for and grow in? With us, you contribute to development and growth throughout the county and work to provide the best possible service, care, and support for everyone living in or visiting the region.

We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and commitment, where both breadth and specialized skills are valued. Here you will have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have long experience.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance care have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth reception, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Lugnviks Health Center is now seeking a licensed psychologist who wants to be part of our team. Our well-functioning operation is located just outside central Östersund and is characterized by a pleasant atmosphere, engagement, and a strong focus on a good work environment. Here you will experience close and professional collaboration among all professional categories. The health center is staffed by both specialists and training doctors, district nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. There is also a rehabilitation coordinator, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, and a psychosocial reception consisting of several psychologists, psychotherapists, and social workers.

We have around 40 employees and two unit managers who together are responsible for over 7,300 registered patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have a central function in assessing and treating adult patients with various forms of mental health issues. You will be responsible for making qualified assessments and guiding patients to the right intervention and treatment.

You will work within the psychosocial reception where you will meet adult patients with varied issues such as stress, anxiety disorders, life crises, depression, and pain-related problems. The work includes assessment and psychological treatment with a CBT focus. The treatment work is varied and occurs through individual contacts, group therapy, and internet-based CBT. The assignment also includes continuous methodological development work where you will have an active role. Supervision is a natural part of the work.

The position also involves collaborating with other community actors and providing guidance, for example, when rehabilitation is needed. You will be part of our multimodal team focused on supporting patients back to working life. The work also includes supervision assignments and regular meetings with psychologist colleagues from other health centers within the Östersund local care area and the region.

For those interested, there is also the opportunity to be offered specialist training.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus; experience from healthcare or primary care is an advantage but not a requirement.

You have a genuine interest in people and always put the patient first. We expect you, together with your colleagues, to contribute your expertise and a professional approach to provide our patients with the best possible care. We are looking for someone who enjoys their professional role, is engaged, takes responsibility, and actively contributes to a positive work climate through good initiative and willingness to collaborate.

For us, good collaboration is crucial. Well-functioning teamwork is the foundation for effective care flows and a good work environment, and we set high standards for this.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

OTHER

In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, our work is permeated by our core values: we create value for those we serve, act with decisiveness, and strive to always be perceived as reliable. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in an organization where these values shape everyday life and where your work truly makes a difference.

As an employee, you will have access to a wide range of benefits through our benefits portal. We care about your health and offer wellness grants or wellness hours. At Östersund Hospital, you can also train for free at the gym Zefyren and participate in instructor-led classes.

Selection and appointment may occur continuously during the advertising period, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.

We have an established mediation for recruitment and kindly but firmly request no contact with advertising sellers or other sellers of recruitment services.
