JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a good introduction, and your tasks will vary depending on how far you have progressed in your education and the availability of staff at the clinic. As a summer employee with us, you will meet many patients, participate in various treatments, and learn more about your future profession.

Dental students who have completed semester 9 can work on a temporary license. After agreeing on a summer job, you must submit a certificate to the clinic confirming that you have completed the ninth semester. The clinic will then submit the application along with the certificate to the National Board of Health and Welfare. As a dental student on a temporary license, you will work as a dentist under supervision, perform examinations, and conduct simpler treatments.

During the summer, we invite all summer employees to an information meeting with dinner and a joint activity. We will share more about Folktandvården's operations, and you will have the opportunity to meet some who already work with us and other summer employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be a student in the dental or dental hygiene program.

No experience is required.

OTHER

Folktandvården in the county has fifteen general dental clinics, four of which are located in the Östersund area and the rest in other parts of the county. In Östersund, there is specialist dental care, which is also part of Folktandvården's operations. In the fall of 2018, we launched our emergency clinic, the dental emergency in Östersund.
