In addition to healthcare, our family in the Support and Care Department consists of LSS, the nutrition unit, Labor Market and Integration (AMI), and Individual and Family Care (IFO).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The rehab team is based in the central location of Hammarstrand where the rehab team shares an open office landscape. We work with SÄBO and home healthcare in three locations in the municipality.

As part of the rehab team, you will collaborate with physiotherapists, district nurses, registered nurses, care staff, case managers, and unit managers. The work involves home visits in both ordinary housing and special housing. To gain a comprehensive picture of the person and their life situation, we strive for the occupational therapist and physiotherapist to conduct joint home visits and assessments. We discuss potential interventions within the team to ensure that we work towards the same goals and avoid counterproductive measures.

In addition to patient work, your responsibilities will include guidance, instruction, education, and information to care staff and relatives. We have a health-promoting, preventive, and rehabilitative approach to increase the opportunity for an active life with good quality of life based on the individual's own conditions/resources.

We can offer you participation and influence in the group's development with room to grow in your professional role and as an individual. You have your own influence on the design of your workdays in consultation with colleagues. Working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday with the possibility of flexibility. Wellness grants or wellness hours are offered.

Since the job also involves mentoring other care staff, you should find this stimulating. We also have a collaboration with primary care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist.

The position requires you to have a B driver's license.

As a person, you have the ability to work with others; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience as an occupational therapist.
