The Individual and Family Care (IFO) is part of the municipality's social services and works with support and interventions for children, youth, adults, and families who need help in various life situations. The Adult Reception and Economy unit is divided into two groups: the Economic Group and the Adult Reception Group. We are now looking for temporary social workers for both groups ahead of the summer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Adult Reception Group consists of four social workers whose main task is to receive new applications for financial assistance as well as reports of concern and applications related to addiction, domestic violence, and social psychiatry. In this role, you will handle new visits regarding financial assistance and conduct updates with preliminary assessments within the mentioned case types.

The Economic Group consists of six social workers who handle ongoing support cases. The work includes investigating incoming information and assessing and deciding on assistance according to the Social Services Act (SoL).

The positions may include on-call duty after office hours according to a schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has reached term 5 or later in the social work program. Previous experience in working with financial assistance and reception work, or experience from other areas within social services, is an advantage.

An interest and good ability for administrative work as well as user focus are necessary. You should have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability and your personal qualities such as flexibility, cooperation, and initiative ability.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
