I am an adult man living in my own apartment in Matfors, and I am now looking for a personal assistant who wants to be a reliable and trustworthy part of my daily life.

I have personal assistance according to LSS to live an independent and meaningful life based on my circumstances. For me, structure, clarity, and predictability are very important – they make me feel secure.

About me

I have cerebral palsy and Asperger's syndrome. I use a wheelchair and need support in my daily life, including personal care, transfers, and household chores.

In my free time, I enjoy sports and I like to follow AIK in football and Brynäs in hockey. I appreciate when my assistants show interest in what I talk about and treat me as the adult person I am.

Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant for me, you will help with:

• Personal care, hygiene, and dressing/undressing
• Transfers
• Cooking, cleaning, and laundry
• Support during social activities and travel
• Creating structure and following routines in daily life

Who are you?

I am looking for someone who is calm, responsible, and reliable. You need to be able to communicate directly and clearly, but always in a calm and respectful tone. It is important that you:

• Are good at collaboration
• Are punctual and keep your promises
• Are confident in conflict management
• Can inform in good time about changes, such as schedule changes
• Respect my routines and need for structure

Out of consideration for personal integrity in the work, I prefer male applicants.

Other

You will be working in my home, so it is important that you feel comfortable working closely and professionally in a personal environment. Personal suitability is very important. Since public transportation has much to be desired, it is an advantage if you have a car and a driver's license.

You need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
