About the position

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant as a substitute for our client in Örnsköldsvik. Working hours vary between day, evening, and awake night shifts. We would also like you to have the opportunity to work more during the summer during the absence of regular staff. The degree of employment and working hours will be agreed upon with the responsible manager.

Start date will be according to agreement, and we would like you to be able to start training immediately.

About the client

The client is a 14-year-old girl with mild intellectual disabilities and autism. She uses a wheelchair, walker, communication aids, and breathing support during sleep in the form of CPAP. As an assistant in this assignment, you will be in both school and home environments and accompany the client on planned activities.

As a personal assistant, you will help where the disability sets limits, which includes transfers, personal hygiene, meal situations, communication, play, and training.

The client is a cheerful and social girl who enjoys listening to music, watching YouTube, and going out. There are pets in the home.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and can analyze the needs of others. We would like you to have experience working with children, but it is not a requirement. Furthermore, you should be attentive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged. We prefer that you are calm, secure, and creative, as great importance is placed on personal suitability. We also appreciate experience with low-arousal approaches, as this is very important.
