Operations
As a social worker in the Child and Family Unit, you will work with investigations and interventions for children and young people aged 0-18 years and their families, in accordance with applicable legislation. The unit is divided into several groups, such as reception, investigation, interventions (placements of children and young people), and family law. You will primarily work with authority exercises and, together with your colleagues, ensure that the right interventions are implemented in each individual case.
We use the method support Children’s Needs in Focus (BBIC) to structure our work, and our documentation is done in the operational system LifeCare. You will also have support from administrative staff who facilitate the administrative work, freeing up time for client contact and interventions. We also have a reception that is part of the operation, working on behalf of the Child and Family Unit as well as the Economy and Adult Unit.

Collaboration with other units and actors is an important part of our work, making us stronger in our missions.
We are now looking for two to three social workers on a temporary basis, as two of our employees will be on parental leave and some employees are on leave of absence.
Job Responsibilities
As a social worker, you will work with authority exercises, according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Special Provisions for the Care of Young People (LVU). You are responsible for investigating the need for support and assistance for children, young people, and their parents, as well as for making decisions about and following up on interventions according to these laws. Your work includes case management, documentation, and a process-oriented approach with the families we meet. The role also includes social readiness a few weekends per year.
Close supervision by coordinators and external guidance is included in the work.
We are looking for you who
- have a degree in social work, which is a requirement, as well as a driver's license.
- can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
We consider it an advantage to have
- experience of authority exercises within social child welfare.
- experience of case management and documentation knowledge according to BBIC
- experience of working in the operational system LifeCare and general computer skills.

Additional Information
Hybrid work is offered to some extent by agreement with the manager.
Trust-based working hours apply and are an individual agreement between the manager and employee. Flexible working hours/flextime may also be offered.
Selection and interviews may take place on an ongoing basis. You may therefore be contacted before the application deadline.
Two to three temporary positions for 8 months depending on necessary decisions and likely possibility of extension.
