We at Attendo are now looking for a nursing assistant to Fridhemmet in Malmö. Fridhemmet is a residence with 45 places. The places are divided between those for people with cognitive impairment (dementia) and 17 somatic places. In addition to the operations manager and assistant operations manager, three group leaders and two nurses work at the residence. An occupational and physiotherapist is also part of the operation.

About the role

As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a big part of your role, as well as contributing to various activities that brighten the everyday life of our elderly.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes.

• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.

• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions.

• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).

• Good computer skills.

Meritorious:

• Experience from care work in elderly care.

• Experience in delegation.
