Your future tasks

As a senior credit analyst in Risk Management, your main role can best be described as being a guide for decision-makers, business managers, and specialist functions regarding credit risk assessment and premium pricing of EKN's guaranteed transactions. You have a central role in developing and refining the methods and models that underpin EKN's risk assessment, risk measurement, and premium pricing. The work involves both advanced analysis and close collaboration with colleagues across several functions to ensure high quality in assessments and working methods. The role also involves representing EKN in contacts with external actors and participating in internal development projects.

Main tasks:

  • Manage, evaluate, and develop methods and models for risk assessment, risk measurement, and premium pricing
  • Process, analyze, and present information and statistical material from internal and external sources
  • Participate in development projects within the organization
  • Have external contacts, e.g., with banks, exporters, customers, and EKN's foreign counterparts

The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in the credit function, business areas, and other specialist functions to ensure high quality in credit risk assessment and the development of EKN's methods and models.

Your future team/department

In the Risk Management department, 28 specialists currently work with responsibilities in country, credit, sustainability, and portfolio analysis as well as EKN's international cooperation. The department contributes to EKN's operations, among other things, through method and analysis responsibilities for risk assessment, risk measurement, reinsurance operations, sustainability investigations, advisory services, and awareness-raising activities.

Your background

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A relevant academic degree in economics, preferably with a focus on financing or accounting/auditing.
  • At least five years of experience from a bank or other financial institution where you have conducted credit risk analyses of companies, including the use of financial models and qualitative analysis of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
  • Very good knowledge and experience working in Excel.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Additionally, it is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience participating in credit committees.

  • Experience in project financing.

Your qualities

To succeed in this role, you need to have a genuine interest and understanding of credit risk analysis and method development, as well as a strong commitment and a desire to actively contribute to the development of the organization.
