We are now looking for nursing assistants for Solängs elderly care!

Soläng is beautifully located in Lödöse, in the southern part of Lilla Edet Municipality, which is associated with water and beautiful nature.

Soläng is a residence divided into six units, three of which are aimed at cognitive impairment, one for elderly psychiatry, and two for somatic care. There are also two short-term places for respite care. On the ground floor, we have facilities that can be jointly utilized for activities.

You will belong to a work team consisting of nursing assistants, care assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, coordinators, and your immediate supervisor.

We also collaborate with volunteers and various non-profit organizations that contribute with different activities, such as a café with musical entertainment and worship services.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in Lilla Edet Municipality, you will provide individually tailored personal care and support as well as social stimulation. We place great importance on the integrity of our citizens and work according to the values that are based on the individual's own wishes and abilities. Our mission is to be professional practitioners who work to strengthen the individual's abilities and resources so that they experience their everyday life as manageable and meaningful.

You will provide support, care, and assistance. The assignment also includes performing health and medical tasks as delegated. Documentation is also part of the daily work. Your work is guided by the fact that our elderly should have a safe and meaningful life, where the individual’s needs are at the center. You will also become a contact person for one of our tenants living in the unit.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• Has experience working in care and support.
• Has experience/knowledge in social documentation
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language as communication and documentation are a large part of our work.
• Has good computer skills

As a person, you are secure in yourself and meet people in an engaged and professional manner. You are a positive person who sees opportunities, is flexible as you will face new challenges every day. You should be innovative and open to alternative working methods and hours, where the individual is the focus. Above all, you find it enjoyable and stimulating to work in care while seeing activation/activities as a natural part of the daily life of the people living in the unit.

Digital Language Test

Selected candidates will undergo a digital language test. A passing level is required to proceed in the process.
