Licensed Psychotherapist for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Description

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Department in NU Healthcare currently has about 150 full-time employees. These consist of doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists, secretaries, dieticians, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.

The BUP clinic is undergoing a major development and organizational effort to enhance the service in relation to patients and healthcare partners. This involves accessibility, current guidelines and care programs, and how we will organize the BUP clinic to meet expectations as they are today.

Responsibilities

As a licensed psychotherapist, you will be part of our workgroup and family team. You will work with individual sessions as well as family systems, focusing on relationships and interactions. The work includes child psychiatric assessments and psychological treatments that are conducted in accordance with jointly developed templates, support documents, and guidelines. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other staff and management, and supervision is available within the clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed psychotherapist according to Swedish regulations. We expect you to have an interest in child and adolescent psychiatry and to be structured, clear, and flexible, with a willingness to work and be part of a team. Previous experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and family therapy is an advantage.

We value qualities such as good social competence, where humor, initiative, and positive thinking are clear merits. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and on qualities such as good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.

Other

The position may be placed in a security class. This means that security clearance and record checks may be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act prior to employment.
