JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a summer substitute within the care and social services administration. You will have the opportunity to engage in exciting work with variation at one of our units. As a summer substitute, you will have the chance to work on a fixed schedule during the holiday period.

You have a genuine interest in people, providing service, and creating security and joy for the elderly with dementia or somatic illnesses. You start from each individual's needs and conditions and have the ability to prioritize your tasks. Around you, you have a fantastic team of colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the responsible unit manager for the accommodation.

Working in a care and social services facility means that together with other staff, you provide support, care, and assistance to the residents. It may also involve helping with daily life and various social activities. The interventions are individually planned, and you will utilize your ability to be flexible, collaborate, and take responsibility.

You will work on scheduled working hours during daytime, evening, or night, weekdays as well as weekends, with varying employment levels around 60-100%.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a summer substitute in a care and social services facility, you need:

• A valid criminal record check
• To understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic digital skills
• To be at least 18 years old

It is an advantage if you have studied the Care and Social Services program or another equivalent education. Experience in care and social services work is also an advantage.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to other people to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your own and shared tasks with the residents' best interests in focus.
