JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a summer substitute within the care and welfare administration. You will have the opportunity for an exciting job with variation in one of our home care groups. As a substitute this summer, you will have the chance to work on a fixed schedule during the holiday period.

Within the administration, we actively work for everyone's work environment and create conditions for you to feel joy and satisfaction at work every day. If you become one of us, we also offer you a calm and secure introduction.

Working in home care means providing support, care, and assistance in the individual's home during day/evening/weekend. The services are individually planned, which means that the care recipient's individual needs and conditions are at the center. It may also involve assisting in daily life and various social activities. The work requires a good attitude, teamwork skills, and good communication abilities.

You have a genuine interest in people, providing service, and creating security and joy for the elderly with dementia or somatic illnesses. You base your work on each individual's needs and conditions and have the ability to prioritize your tasks. Around you, you have a fantastic team of colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the responsible unit manager.

You will work on scheduled hours during day and evening, weekdays and weekends, with varying degrees of employment around 60-100%.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a summer substitute in home care, you need to:

• Have a valid criminal record check
• Be able to understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Have basic digital skills
• Be at least 18 years old
• A driving license is required in some units; otherwise, there is the option to cycle

It is an advantage if you have studied the Care and Welfare Program or another education deemed equivalent. Experience in care and welfare work is also an advantage. It is beneficial if you have a driving license. Note that education, experience, and a driving license are required in some operations.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to other people in order to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your own and shared work tasks with the care recipients' best interests in focus.
