What do we offer?

• We are a well-functioning health center with permanent doctors and various specialist clinics.

The work as a general practitioner at our clinic involves the investigation and treatment of patients. We work systematically and structured with the aim of always offering our patients the best care. Visits can be both planned and urgent.

The role may also include supervision of medical students and residents, as an important part of our mission is to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. With us, you will work closely with all professions at the clinic and you will be an important part of the ongoing improvement work and development of the practice.

Our staff includes 6 permanently employed district doctors and 5 residents placed at the health center. The practice also includes a physiotherapy clinic and a counseling clinic.

We are a group that loves to laugh and appreciates having fun at work; we are a close-knit little team! We truly see the importance of meeting and regularly enjoy good food and coffee together every day!

Who are we looking for?

• We are looking for you who are a qualified specialist in general medicine and have experience working in primary care.
• You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to see the practice from a holistic perspective with both the patient and the clinic in focus.
• You are stable, flexible, and adaptable to different situations and have an easy time collaborating.
• You need to have good communication skills to create good relationships with patients as well as colleagues. As a person, you are attentive to our patients' needs and your approach is professional and humble.
• It is advantageous if you have experience and/or interest in supervising residents.

Reception

Vårdcentralen Söder is located in a somewhat spectacular building at Trädgårdsgatan 10 in the pleasant Söder area of Växjö. The center is easily accessible via two pedestrian bridges over the railway, and it is just as easy to get here by train or bus. The health center has about 10,700 listed patients and includes a child health clinic. We are responsible for two nursing homes in Växjö. The patient group is quite mixed, but the population is relatively young. We are about 32 permanently employed individuals who share a common responsibility for the daily work at the health center. We are a very nice group with high competence. Our work environment is characterized by warmth, helpfulness, and humor. Vårdcentralen Söder's unique property has a homely atmosphere that is appreciated by patients, children, and parents, as well as by us who work here. The outdoor environment is also special with its own garden where we like to spend lunch and coffee breaks.

Our physiotherapists have their clinics at Vida Arena. This is particularly good because the proximity and collaboration with Vida Arena's fine gym benefits many of our patients.
