We are now looking for a dietitian to join our primary care health unit, attracted by the breadth of primary care and the diverse patient group. Here, you will work alongside three dietitian colleagues. The workplace also includes other colleagues working on lifestyle-related behavior changes. Together, we are a workplace with great expertise and many years of experience in disease-specific nutritional treatment, alcohol, tobacco, physical activity, drugs, and gambling. There are also opportunities for further interdisciplinary collaborations with physiotherapists, psychosocial resources, and occupational therapists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a dietitian in the Primary Care Health Unit, you will assess and treat nutrition-related symptoms and diseases. Your treatment work will consist of both individual nutritional treatment and group treatment for primary care patients. In primary care's mission, there is a wide range; you will encounter patients with malnutrition, obesity, diabetes, and gastrointestinal diseases.

In addition to direct patient contact, the position also includes a consultative and prescribing role towards nurses in the municipal home care.

The Primary Care Health Unit operates across the county; residents can seek care at the clinic on their own or be referred via their health center. We have clinics in both Växjö and Ljungby, and we plan how the work is organized and distributed together.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian. We prefer that you have experience in clinical dietitian work and an interest in the opportunities of primary care.

In a small staff group, the work requires you to be able to work independently and to easily establish good collaboration with adjacent professions and other healthcare colleagues. You should be attracted to the breadth and flow of primary care.

We are looking for someone who is structured and driven, which you apply in the development of our operations. Within the framework of your position, there are good opportunities to influence the organization of the work, so we will place great importance on personal suitability and your ability to adopt a constructive working approach. A driver's license is required as travel in the position may be necessary.
