Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. The care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physician with us, you will play a key role in the team and have the opportunity to work broadly and develop within the pain and rehabilitation field.

You will be responsible for medical assessment and treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions and participate in both individual interventions and team assessments together with our other professionals.

Your responsibilities also include patient education and participation in group interventions, as well as conducting multimodal assessments and creating well-thought-out treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.

You will work systematically to assess pain mechanisms and choose appropriate treatment strategies, and you will have natural collaboration with both internal and external care providers to ensure a holistic and safe care for the patient.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed physician, whether you are a specialist, in the middle of your residency, or about to start it. You may have specialist training in pain medicine, rehabilitation medicine, general medicine, anesthesiology, psychiatry, or another relevant specialty. Experience in, or a particular interest in, rehabilitation, psychiatry, and chronic pain is advantageous. We primarily value that you have a genuine interest in the patient group; we will ensure that you have the opportunity to develop in the areas of competence you have not yet mastered.

For those of you who are residents, regardless of where you are in your training, we would like to see a clear interest in pain, rehabilitation medicine, and/or psychiatry. We ensure that necessary supervision is available, if needed in collaboration with other units or clinics.

You have good communication skills, good knowledge of Swedish, and thrive in teams where you contribute with a professional and empathetic approach.

We are open to dialogue about combining the position with another ongoing employment if it is a solution that works for both you and the organization. We also prefer that you primarily work on-site, but there is an opportunity for some remote work if agreed upon and works for the organization.
