We at Norlandia Elderly Care are looking for a nurse who wants to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Norrelid nursing home in Växjö. Would you like to be part of our team this summer? Then you are warmly welcome to submit your application!

As a nurse within Norlandia Elderly Care, you are a valuable key person responsible for ensuring that our residents' health and medical care needs are met. An important part of the job is also to support, guide, and educate other care staff and to be a good role model for your colleagues.

You work with care in everything you do, with great personal responsibility and the ability to prioritize and lead others even under changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial collaboration are of great importance in the assignment.

Norrelid nursing home has 72 apartments distributed over eight units, four of which are intended for people with dementia. Norrelid is centrally located in Växjö and there are good bus connections.

As a summer substitute nurse at Norrelid, you will always work alongside regular nurse colleagues who are physically present in the operation.

As a summer substitute with us, you will have access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary. In the app, you can see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payment, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn from an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the possibility to withdraw part of the earned salary for extra shifts/hourly shifts immediately after the shift is completed.

You should also find it easy to collaborate with others and have a good ability to adapt your communication based on the recipient. As a nurse in elderly care, you will have the opportunity to take significant personal responsibility, which requires both professional skills, prioritization ability, and flexibility.

• We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.

• It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a nurse in elderly care.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We would like you to have good computer skills and system knowledge.

Employment type: Summer substitute (RAM agreement or SÄV agreement, as agreed).

Schedule: Monday - Friday between 07:00-16:00.

Period: Week 24 (introduction week), 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and/or 32.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide a criminal record extract. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
